Proftp 설정에 관한 질문입니다

항상 슈퍼유저를 통해 많은 지식을 습득하고 있는...  초보유저입니다.

얼마전 rhel as4 버전을 설치하고 proftp를 소스로 설치하였습니다.

환경설정을 각종 서적과 강좌를 참고하여 설정하였는데도..  정상 동작을 안하는것 같습니다.

어디가 잘못 된것일까요?    많은 지도 편달 바랍니다.

이렇게 돼있습니다.

ㅜ.ㅜ 몇일째 고생하는지 몰겠어요.

글구 한가지 질문이 더 있습니다.

제가 root 를 제외한 몇개의 계정을 더 만들었는데..

root야 로그인이 안된다고 쳐도 그 외의 계정이 접속이 안됩니다.

계정의 설정을 따루 해 주어야 접속이 되는것인가요?

아니면 아무런 설정없이 ftp 접속이 되어야 하는건가요?
