./configure 명령이 안먹습니다.

모든 ./configure 명령이 안먹습니다. -_-;;;
게시판을 보니 권한설정에 대한 얘기가 있던데!^^;;
원격으로 텔넷접속해서 su 권한으로 컴파일하니 도통 안되는군요!^^
혹시 서버에서 해야하는건가???
그리고 gcc설치에 대해서도 있던데^^;;;
아무튼 고수님들 답변 부탁드려요..
