PHP configure 중 에러에 대한 질문입니다...

mysql 설치 마치고..아파치 압축 푼 디렉토리에서

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/httpd-2.0.48    했습니다...

그리고 PHP 설정을 아래처럼 해주었는데...

[root@IBMBeetle php-5.0.0b4]# ./configure --with-httpd=/usr/local/httpd-2.0.48 --enable-versioning

--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-config-file-path=/usr/local/etc/httpd/conf                                      --with-exec-dir=/usr/local/etc/httpd/bin --enable-track-vars=yes

마지막에 이런 에러가 뜹니다..

Configuring extensions
checking whether to enable LIBXML support... yes
checking libxml2 install dir... no
configure: error: libxml2 version 2.5.10 or greater required.

libxml2 버전이 낮다는 말 같은데... libxml2   이게 도대체 무엇인지요...

혹시 php 버전이 높아서 그런건 아닌지요...

libxml2 이것만 버전업하면 해결되는 문제라면..

버전업을 어떻게 하는건지 좀 가르쳐 주세요...
